The best restaurants in Ajman, which mostly means the Corniche

Eleven restaurants in the smallest emirate: the hotel dining rooms along the Corniche, a fish market you eat at, and the Emirati kitchen the tourism board itself recommends.

Ajman is licensed, which is the first thing to know if you are arriving from Sharjah, and small, which is the second. The emirate’s dining is a strip: the Fairmont, Ajman Saray, Bahi Palace and the former Kempinski line the Corniche, and their restaurants are where an evening out happens. Off the strip there is a fish market with grills attached, a Kerala institution in Al Jurf, and Attibrah, the Emirati restaurant the tourism board names on its own Corniche page.

No guide rates Ajman. The MICHELIN Guide does not cover it and Gault&Millau’s 2026 expansion reached Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah but not here. So the list below is built from the tourism board, the hotels’ own dining pages and the city magazine’s 2026 listings, with our own price estimates where nobody publishes one. The cards say which is which.

One thing to plan around: Al Zorah’s Oberoi, which had the emirate’s best-reviewed restaurants, closed when Oberoi’s management ended on 28 February 2025. The property is becoming a Four Seasons that had not opened when we checked. Vinesse and Aquario are not on this list because they no longer exist in that form.

The Corniche hotels

Seven rooms in four hotels. Bab Al Bahr at the Fairmont is the beach grill with the bar; Kiyi and Gioia are the Saray’s Turkish and Italian rooms; Bukhara at the former Kempinski is the tandoor that has outlasted two brand names; Dragon’s Place, Seascape and Zanzi Bar are the Bahi Palace’s Chinese, seafood and grill rooms, all dry.

Yes, in licensed hotel venues: the Fairmont, Ajman Saray, Ajman Hotel by Blazon and others. Bahi Ajman Palace is voluntarily alcohol-free.

What is the best restaurant in Ajman?

For an evening, Bab Al Bahr at the Fairmont or Kiyi at Ajman Saray. For Ajman itself, Themar Al Bahar's grilled fish on the Corniche.

Is the Oberoi Al Zorah still open?

No. Oberoi's management ended on 28 February 2025 and the property is being converted to a Four Seasons, not yet open as of 20 September 2026.
