FAMILY HOTELS IN DUBAI · RESEARCHED GUIDE · CHECKED 20 SEPTEMBER 2026

The best family hotels in Dubai, judged on the kids' club terms the hotel actually publishes

Sixteen resorts with a beach, a pool for children and a club to leave them in. We looked for the age range, the hours and the cost on the operator’s own page. Four publish all three. The rest are on the card as we found them.

Jumeirah beach hotel pool
A resort pool on the Gulf. The question for a family is not whether there is one, but who looks after the children while you are in it, and what that costs.

The family-hotel question in Dubai has a specific answer and most guides avoid it. Every resort on the Palm and the Jumeirah coast has a pool, a beach and a page that says ‘kids’ club’. What matters is the fine print: the ages the club takes, the hours it runs, and whether it costs money. Fairmont The Palm publishes all three: 18 months to 12 years, 10:30 to 19:00, two hours free for guests then AED 85 an hour. Jumeirah Beach Hotel publishes ages and hours. Address Beach Resort’s Qix Club is free for four- to sixteen-year-olds. Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach takes four- to twelve-year-olds free. Those four are the top of this page for a reason.

The sixteen are grouped by where they are, because with children the drive matters. The Palm’s six resorts share Aquaventure’s neighbourhood; the four Jumeirah hotels share Wild Wadi and the Madinat’s abra network; the Marina and JBR three are the ones with a walkable strip outside; the last three are for families who want a resort that is the whole holiday, forty minutes from anything.

Where a card is amber, the hotel is presumed open but its operator’s page refused our request this week. That is five hotels, all Marriott-family or Centara, and their kids’ club details come from third-party listings rather than the hotel. We would rather show you that than pretend to know.

How to read this page

  • Room counts are the operator's where the operator publishes one. Marriott, Hilton, Bulgari, Dorchester, Kempinski and Four Seasons pages refused our requests, so those figures come from press releases and are marked.
  • Status was checked on 20 September 2026. Amber means the operator's page could not be read this week and the hotel is presumed open.
  • Photographs appear only where we hold an independently licensed image of the property. The rest are text cards; we do not use marketing photography.
  • Awards show the list, the category and the year. A rating from another platform is that platform's, never ours.
  • Links go to the hotel's own site, or to our full profile where one exists.

Palm Jumeirah

Six resorts. Atlantis is the one with the waterpark attached. Fairmont has the clearest kids’ club terms in the city. Rixos is all-inclusive with Rixy Club; Sofitel’s Amura Club exists but publishes no ages; Anantara’s Tuk-Tuk Club is operator-confirmed; the Marriott’s page blocked us.

Press and prior research agree it is the island's default family resort because the waterpark and aquarium remove the transport problem, at the cost of crowds and a small-town scale. Thin on independent 2026 reviews: 2 of 2 sources note the restaurant pauses as the current caveat.

Eat on site: FZN by Bjorn Frantzen, Hakkasan, Ossiano, Brasserie Frantzen (paused Apr 2026), Seafire Steakhouse. Note: World Travel Awards’ Middle East’s Leading Resort in 2025 and 2026. Ossiano is closed with bookings from 3 December 2026, Brasserie Frantzén is paused, Hakkasan reopens 23 September; FZN, Nobu, Milos, Carbone and Bread Street Kitchen trade normally. Aquaventure is the reason families book it.
